I’m starting a small bakery and I’m wondering if leasing or purchasing would be my best option. I’d like to lease in case the business goes belly up I think.

Anyone have any good links (they’ve personally had experience with) for leasing bakery equipment such as a convection oven, display case, refrigerator and a mixer?

Even if you do lease, you are going to be required to personally guarantee the lease in case the business does go belly up. Being a start up company, the personal guaranty will be a requirement.

But leasing is a good option, it can leave you with more cash for operating expenses, inventory and payroll.
